London.  September 22.  The following remarkable epitaph is
in Whitby church yard, in the county of York. . . [6 line
epitaph in prose about a husband and wife born on the same
date, married on their birthday, who died within hours of
each other, aged 80, on the same day as the one on which
they were born and married, followed by a poem].
ON THE FOREGOING EPITAPH.
  Husband and wife could ne'er more fitly join,
  Fate so concern'd, the knot must grow divine,
. . . [6 lines of poetry rhymed in couplets]
  Two strings of music so wound by one hand,
  Which can their tuneful unison command,
  In sympathetic sound return their voice,
  And in each other's harmony rejoice;
